August 5, 2022 – Hillsboro, OR – Q5id, creator of the revolutionary Q5id Guardian app, has announced its support of the National CASA/GAL Association for Children.
Both National CASA/GAL and Q5id Guardian understand there’s strength in numbers. We all need the support of community in times of crisis, and a community that bands together can truly enforce change. Guardian relies on the unification of like-minded community members who want to support others in those times of crisis and jump into action at a moment’s notice to help find missing children.
Like Guardian, CASA and GAL programs also rely on the power of community to help support in times of crisis and band together to create social change. National CASA/GAL supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy for children and youth who have experienced abuse or neglect. All CASA/GAL volunteers are local community members who volunteer their time towards helping children, youth and families. Across the United States, there are more than 93,000 CASA/GAL volunteers serving almost a quarter of a million children each year.
“More than half a million people are reported missing in the United States each year,” according to Q5id CEO Steve Larson. “Q5id’s Guardian solution is revolutionizing how missing children are found through the power of patented technology, community, and immediate localized alerts. We are pleased to align with National CASA/GAL to support all the great work they do, because we know that together, we’re stronger.”
Q5id Guardian will begin to immediately focus on supporting and increasing the awareness of National CASA/GAL and efforts to advocate for children who have experienced abuse or neglect, many of whom are at-risk of becoming missing or exploited.
“We are very appreciative of the generous support from Q5id Guardian that enables us to continue advancing our mission of supporting and promoting best interest advocacy for children who have experienced abuse or neglect,” said Tara Lisa Perry, Chief Executive Officer of the National CASA/GAL Association for Children.
